Dress Code
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting Formal or Black-tie Optional attire for our wedding!
Men, this can be a suit with a shirt and tie. Ladies, think floor-length gowns, knee-length cocktail dresses, classy jumpsuits, or dressy separates. While the venue is indoors, consider a jacket for the evening.
Most importantly we want you all to feel your best, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Just no denim or jeans please!

To the Venue
The Carlsbad Windmill is directly off the 1-5S on Palomar Airport Rd.
Our venue has ample free parking surrounding the Windmill and Food Hall. If staying at the Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel, it is directly attached to the venue. If you plan on enjoying our Open Bar, please use a ride-share or taxi service if staying further away.
To the After Party
If you plan on keeping the party going, join us at Same Same in the Carlsbad Village after the reception. Please use a ride-share/taxi service, as parking is limited in the area. Ride-share vouchers will be given to those who RSVP to the After Party!
To the Morning After Brunch
For those who are joining us at Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel for the Morning After Brunch, It is located directly behind the Carlsbad Windmill. The brunch will be held in the Meeting & Event space. We will provide some light breakfast and drinks to wrap up the weekend!

The ceremony will be held at the Carlsbad Windmill Chapel. The reception will also be held at the same location, but upstairs in the reception room.
What time does the Ceremony Start ?

The ceremony starts at 4 PM. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find a seat.
Where should i Stay ?

The Carlsbad Windmill is attached The Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel where we have a room block. Please refer to the Accomodations section of the details page for other hotels and the room block code.
How will i get there ? Will there be Parking ?

The Carlsbad Windmill directly off the I-5. Please refer to the Transportation section of the details page for more direction and the address. There is a large parking lot in front of the windmill with free parking. Please use a ride-share or taxi service if you plan on enjoying the Open Bar!
How do I RSVP ?

Please use the RSVP form on our website. We ask that you respond by November 8, 2024 so we can get an accurate headcount to our planners. You will recieve an RSVP count with the number of seats we saved for you with your invitation.
What is the dress code ?

YES! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! If you plan on enjoying the bar, please use a ride-share or taxi-service!
CAN I TAKE + POST PICTURES OF YOUR WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Absolutely! We can't wait to see your photos! Please note that the ceremony will be Unplugged. We ask that you do not take photos or have your phone out during our ceremony and let our photographers do their magic! We will make sure to share all photos from the wedding once we recieve them.
